Sigmasport RT member, Mike Harrison, has successfully resolved his claim for compensation following a career-threatening road accident that occurred in July 2004.  Mike suffered a fracture to his spine when a motorist pulled out from a side street as he was out training, rendering him immobile in hospital for several weeks and then unable to work, for several months.

Mike's grit and determination saw him back in the saddle and driving himself towards a great level of recovery evidence by his fantastic performance in the British Road Race Championships in June 2005.

Mike's case was fully supported and funded by British Cycling and conducted by Sue Bence, consultant to the cycling and sports injuries team and Leigh Day.
