Personal injury compensation success for British Cycling member

23 April 2006

British Cycling member Chris Tidball has successfully completed his claim for personal injury compensation arising from a road traffic accident.

Chris was cycling home from work when a car driver suddenly pulled into his path, intending to park.  The car driver hit Chris, causing him to fall off his bike and sustain grazes and bruising to his left elbow, hip, knee and ankle. He also received compensation for the damage to his bike and clothing.

Chris was represented by the Cycling and Sports Injury team at Leigh Day & Co led by partner Sue Bence.  British Cycling supported and funded the claim.
