Family get compensation for heart infection death

Liability was admitted by a hospital in a case of endocarditis that was badly treated and resulted in the unnecessary death of their patient. The bereaved family were represented by clinical negligence solicitor Olive Lewin.

Child awarded £5.6 million

The High Court approved damages for a severely physically disabled child who was left brain damaged after negligent treatment at his birth. The family were represented by Leigh Day & Co. clinical negligence lawyer Sally Jean Nicholes.
