Prostate cancer screening kits
The MHRA has
warned of the risk of false negative results which could lead to a missed diagnosis of prostate cancer when people use the home testing kit manufactured by Biomerica Inc. The kit was shipped to the UK under the brand name Simplicity Health prostate screening test and is also marketed under the brand Fortel. People who have used the kit may need to seek further advice from their GP, and be re-tested.
