Penny Knight, head of the cycling and sports injuries team at Leigh Day & Co attended the annual awards ceremony held by British Cycling at Bolton's Reebok Stadium on Saturday 28 February 2009. The ceremony, which was sponsored by Leigh Day is a chance for British Cycling to recognise the work of the many volunteers and champions of the organisation.
Opening the evening British Cycling president Brian Cookson said: "2008 was the year in which cycling made a huge breakthrough into the public consciousness. Our challenge is to thrive and expand in this new era. More people than ever before now know more about our sport and want to get involved... and I know we can do it."
Sally Moore was delighted to be able to present some of the prizes during the evening. Leigh Day & Co help British Cycling members all year round with their legal services.
