Eleven teams battled it out in the third
Leigh Day & Co Charity Dragon Boat Race on Thursday 9th July 2009. The teams were racing for their honour and to help raise funds for the
Spinal Injuries Association. This year, Landmark Chambers were crowned the winners, but all the teams must be congratulated in raising £7,200 for our nominated charity.
The final race included: Landmark, 3 Serjeants Inn, 1 Crown Office Row and Baker Tilly. It was an exciting final with Landmark Chambers winning with a time of 37.74 seconds beating the reigning champions 1 Crown Office Row! The best heat for Leigh Day’s team was in round three when they crossed the finishing line
with their best time of 39.95 seconds, but we were destined only for 9th place.
