British Cycling member Colin Garnham has received damages following a road traffic incident which occurred whilst he was cycling with a companion along Chalkpitt Lane towards Marlow on the 4th of March 2008.
The accident occurred when a motorist pulled out of a junction Colin and his cycling companion were passing causing Colin to swerve and strike his companion’s bicycle. Colin lost control of his bike and was thrown onto the road consequentially suffering multiple soft tissue injuries and damage to his bicycle and clothing.
The Defendant’s insurers accepted liability for the accident and the value of Colin’s compensation claim was agreed without the need for Court proceedings.Colin was represented by
