British Cycling member David Collins has successfully recovered compensation following a road traffic incident which occurred whilst he was cycling on the Field Head roundabout, Markfield, Leicestershire on the 29th of December 2007.
David was thrown from his bicycle and suffered multiple soft-tissue injuries and damage to his bike as a result of the motorist driving into the rear of his bicycle having failed to note David’s position on the roundabout. After investigation the Defendant’s insurers accepted liability for the incident. David’s damages claim was agreed following receipt of medical evidence and David received compensation for his injuries, damaged bicycle, clothing and other consequential losses.David was represented by
