London cyclist concludes compensation claim

Graeme Dunbar has successfully concluded his compensation claim after being knocked from his bicycle

British Cycling member Graeme Dunbar has successfully concluded his compensation claim arising from a road traffic accident which occurred on 10 November 2007 while cycling along Garrett Lane, London SW18.

Graeme was knocked from his bicycle by a motorist who turned right across the carriage way, cutting directly across his path and causing a collision.The motorist failed to stop following the collision but his vehicle registration details were recorded by an independent witness.

Following investigations liability for the accident was accepted and Graeme’s damages claim was agreed in full. Graeme suffered personal injury, damage to his bicycle and other consequential losses as a result of the accident.

Graeme was represented by Anna Hart in Leigh Day & Co’s cycling and sports injury team. His claim was supported and funded by British Cycling.
