Seriously injured pedestrian represented by Leigh Day

6 February 2008

Leigh Day & Co is acting for one of the victims of a horrific road traffic incident in Central London in February 2007.

It has been widely reported in the news that the driver was high on crystal meth when he inexplicably swerved onto the pavement on Regent Street colliding with a crowd of pedestrians. The driver was jailed for four years, but the Judge sentencing the driver said that the limit of the jail term to four years did not "permit the court to do justice for the general public or these victims in particular".

A mother and daughter both suffered leg amputations as a result of the accident which left six people badly injured in hospital. Leigh Day & Co is acting for one of the victims who suffered serious foot and leg injuries as a result of the collision.
