Assistant Solicitor – Consumer Law – Human Rights Department – Ref: AS/CL/HR

We are currently seeking an experienced Solicitor to join our Human Rights department.

The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 5 years’ relevant work experience although all applications will be considered. The successful applicant will hold a responsible position working on a consumer litigation class action. We are looking for candidates who possess an expertise in consumer law. Experience in working on multi-party actions would be ideal, although not essential. Experience in acting on behalf of claimant (as opposed to defendants) would be an advantage.
 
This is a busy and demanding role and a high standard of performance is expected, with the ability to deal sensitively with clients and experts. The successful applicant will possess a strong knowledge of law, good IT skills and be an effective communicator. Strong written & verbal skills are a must have, along with the ability to manage tasks in an assertive, efficient and timely manner. A proven commitment to the type of work we do is essential.

This is a fixed-term 6 months’ contract role with a possibility of being extended/made permanent.
Full-time position 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (inclusive).
Start date: ASAP

Assistant Solicitor – International & Group Claims Department – Ref: AS/BOZ

We are urgently seeking a Solicitor to assist a Partner in our International & Group Claims department.

The post would suit someone who possesses 3 years or more work experience in Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence although all applications will be considered. The successful applicant will hold a responsible position assisting a Partner with her caseload of product liability work. Previous experience in product liability together with good knowledge of group litigation procedures is beneficial. Experience in orthopaedics is advantageous.
